Why it costs more than a straight respray
When you change colour, it's not just the outer panels. To do it properly, areas like the door shuts, boot and bonnet edges and inner sills need painting too β otherwise the old colour peeks through every time you open a door. That extra work is what separates a proper colour change from a cheap blow-over.
Getting the colour right
We'll help you settle on a shade and finish β solid, metallic or pearl β and match it precisely. It's worth seeing samples in daylight, because colours behave very differently under workshop lights and the Lincolnshire sky.
The DVLA bit
If you change your car's colour you're required to tell the DVLA so your V5C logbook is updated. It's a straightforward change and we'll point you in the right direction on it.
