Why salt is the enemy
Grit and road salt keep us moving in icy weather, but they're corrosive. Left on the car β especially in chips, scratches and wheel arches β salt speeds up rust.
Wash more, not less
It feels counter-intuitive in cold weather, but regular washing through winter rinses off the salt before it can do damage. Pay attention to the lower panels and arches.
Sort chips before winter
Any chip or scratch that's exposed bare metal is an open door for winter salt. Getting them sealed in autumn is cheap insurance against a rust repair in spring.
We're here if it's too late
Caught some corrosion already? Bring it down and we'll take a look before it spreads.
