What we collect and why
Quote and enquiry forms. When you send an enquiry we collect the details you give us — typically your name, phone number, email address, vehicle make/model and registration, a description of the damage and any photos you attach. We use this to assess the job, contact you about it and arrange a time to see the car. Our lawful basis is that this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We also ask where you heard about us so we know which of our advertising works; you can choose "Other".
Insurance work. If your repair is going through an insurer we may share details of the vehicle and the damage with your insurer or their engineer as needed to progress the claim.
Phone, WhatsApp and email. If you contact us directly we keep the messages and details you send for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or job.
Website analytics. With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used — pages visited, how people scroll and where they get stuck. This information is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become a job are deleted within 12 months. Records of work carried out are kept for 6 years to meet our accounting, warranty and insurance obligations. Photos you send are kept with the job record and deleted with it.
Who we share it with
Only where needed to run the business: our form-handling and email providers, your insurer (for insurance work), our accountants, and Google and Microsoft for analytics if you've consented. We never sell your information.
Cookies
The site sets no analytics cookies until you choose "Accept analytics" on the cookie banner. Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months. You can change it at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
