When a repair is right
Scuffs, scrapes, light cracks and paint damage can nearly always be repaired and refinished to like-new. We clean and key the area, fill and sand, then prime, colour-match and blend so there's no visible patch. A repair keeps the original panel on the car and costs a fraction of a new painted bumper.
When replacement makes sense
If a bumper is badly split, has broken mounting points, or the structure behind it is compromised, replacement can be the safer option. We'll tell you honestly when that line has been crossed.
What about cost?
A repair is usually far cheaper than supplying and painting a new bumper. The exact figure depends on the size and depth of the damage, whether the bumper needs removing, and the paint type.
How to decide
Photos rarely tell the whole story about cracks and mountings, so bring the car to our Grimsby workshop and we'll give you a straight answer and an accurate price either way.
