Caring for a Fresh Respray: The First 30 Days

Give it time to cure

Modern paint is touch-dry quickly but keeps hardening for weeks. During that window it's a little more delicate than fully-cured paint.

Washing

Hold off on automatic washes for the first couple of weeks. When you do wash, use a gentle hand wash with a soft mitt and proper car shampoo.

Hold off on wax

Fresh paint needs to breathe while it cures, so don't wax or seal straight away. We'll advise when it's ready.

Where you park

Avoid parking under sap-dropping trees, and remove bird mess promptly. A few weeks of care and your respray is set for years.
