
More than the outer panels
To do it properly, the areas that show when you open a door, the boot or the bonnet — shuts, jambs and edges — all need painting in the new colour too. Otherwise the old colour peeks through. That extra work is the biggest reason a colour change costs more.
Choosing your colour
We'll help you settle on a shade and finish — solid, metallic or pearl — and match it precisely. View samples in daylight, because colours behave very differently outdoors.
The DVLA bit
If you change your car's colour you must tell the DVLA so your V5C logbook is updated. It's straightforward, but important — and worth telling your insurer too, as it's a modification.
