It starts with your paint code
Every car has a factory paint code, usually on a sticker in a door shut or under the bonnet. That's the starting point for mixing your colour.
Why the code isn't enough
Paint fades and weathers, so a fresh mix straight from the code won't perfectly match older paint. Matching to the car as it is today is where experience comes in.
Blending is the trick
Rather than stopping at a panel edge, we blend the new paint into the surrounding area so there's no hard line. It's what makes a good repair invisible, and why refinishing a whole panel often looks better than a spot repair.
See the difference
The proof is that you can't see the repair at all. Come and look at our work at the Grimsby workshop.
